Guest guest
Do NOT apply this formula straight into the eye. It won't kill you to do so, but you'll be doubled over and not be able to open your eyes for 45 minutes if you do. There is cayenne in this formula, and using it straight will make your eyes sting like the dickens. The correct way to use this formula is to put 1 to 10 drops into an eye cup that is filled with distilled water. Flush each eye a couple of times using the same eye cupfull. I think it would be better to take TT (internally, I don't know if you can put it in eyes or not). I haven't ever used an eyebright tincture, but rather an eyebright tea. However Doc has an eyebright formula that is tinctured that is applied straight to the eye so I would assume it woul be safe. Here is Doc's formula from the files: EyeBright Formula1 Part - Eyebright Herb1 Part - Bayberry Bark1 Part - Red raspberry1 Part - Goldenseal1/8 Part - Cayenne pepperin a base of 50% Water and 50% Alcohol = 100 Proof.A Part is a part by volume.Add 1 Cup of DMSO to a gallon of the above tincture.Ian "Doc" ShillingtonCopyright © 2001 by Ian Shillington.
