Guest guest
Hi Don, It's taken me a couple of yrs. to transiton. I started with a pretty good diet ( I thought) Then went organic. I thought raw would be to boring. It's like going from white bread to whole wheat. It takes some getting use to. The getting use to is really mental. It's been far easier than I would have ever thought. That may be just me tho. I know other people have a struggle with it. I sometimes almost feel euphoric. Life is so amazing. Anyhow, how can you go wrong! You are such a good coach! Must be the good diet Kathe
Guest guest
Hi Angela, Hey, just dive right on in. In MHO there is nothing better than going raw. It is only boring if you allow it to be. There are many web sites dedicated to eating and living raw with wonderful recipes and ideas. I have found that once I overcame my uhhhmmm addiction to hydrogenated oil infused potatoe chips and corn chips, chocolate, meat, processed foods, junk foods, and cooked devitalized dead food that the taste of raw, organic fruits and vegetables actually had a really wonderful taste. I just had to retrain my taste buds is all. There are a lot of people who eat raw. I don't know about Kathe but I am 95 % raw at this point as I am completing my transitional diet. This is a must for anyone who is considering going raw (transitional diet). Otherwise you end up with way too many toxins at once and too many problems to contend with. This is why so many people fail at going raw as they just make the switch to totally raw eating without a transitional diet. I say why wait, go for it. If you need assistance or advice there are lots of us who can guide you. Just remember to do a transitional diet and do not worry if it takes you several years. Just think about how long it took you to get where you are at now. Better to do it slowly and complete it then to try and rush it and remain with the same eating habits.
