Can you explain how you mean, "more than normal?" Sex drives are hard to figure out and personally I dont always look at them medically/chemically. I always had a much much much larger sex drive than most women and many men. Its frustrating because its hard not to give in to desires as I dont want to sleep around. High sex drives have their benefits but also a burden in where you can actually need to have another outlet besides just sex if sex is not possible at the time otherwise the frustration will drive you nutty. So I am just curious what you mean, as my "advanced" drive started pretty young as well.

Hoping we can help

-I understand that my son has a very high sex drive. I also

understand that everyone says this is normal. What I am having

problems with is the 3 to 4 days every so often where he is

unbearable. I mean he can't control his temper. It is directly

related to his sex drive because these are the days when he won't get

up from the floor. I just let him do his thing at home. He knows he

can't lay on a floor in public but he thinks it is because they are

dirty. This is what makes me think that he is lacking some vitamin

or mineral. There is not any information out there everyone says he

will grow out of it. any and all help appreciated.

I'm thinking maybe something else entirely is bothering him and he is trying to self-soothe himself through the discomfort. What is his diet like?

Coming in a little late on this thread, but I have couple of questions for you Kristina.

1. Does he eat meat (at home or on the street) that is NOT organic???

2. Does he eat a lot of sugar???

Not only do meats affect sex drive, but also any food, spice or beverage

that is classified as a stimulant. These are (but not limited to): eggs,

cheese, chocolate, tea, coffee, colas, spices such as cayenne, ginger,

mustard, mint, dill, celery, basil, anise, peppermint, red raspberry,

rosemary, sasparilla, sassafras, wintergreen, cloves, red clover,

ginseng.

Herbs that are also classified as a mild stimulant, but also as a

relaxant are: lavender, valerian. This can get confusing, as you know

anything that has the property of being a relaxant can be stimulating to

some degree-sex-drive wise......

Sage is good for balancing the hormones. Gaye
