peripheral neuropathy

Good morning all. I am a newbie here, and I have a question.

Searching the archives brought up a zero on the subject, so here

goes...

 

What can you take or do for peripheral neuropathy?

 

I am currently on neurontin, 300 mg up to 3x daily. (I take it once,

sometimes twice, rarely 3x, only if I have to go somewhere, or do

something important) It greatly helps the pain, but I nickname it " My

stupid pill " , as it muddies up my thinking, and I can't concentrate

or remember. Much like Alzheimers must be, except I Know, that I

cant think or remember. Without the Neurontin, I can't walk. The

pain is so bad, I just sit and cry (literally)

 

Any suggestions?
