He didn't have his precious lab result concur with my opinion. What would I know, I'm just a mother.

He said that it wasn't an infection & I then said, so what's the next step? He said "well we could do a spinal tap". Basically he was trying to scare me into saying "maybe it's just viral". Moe Fugger.

But to update you all, I went looking for cranberry juice "not from concentrate" & could not find some to save my life. I guess something useful could not possibly be available. So I went to my health food store & picked up some cranberry extract. Cappy is almost completely better now. I'm so glad I'm not a slave to western "medicine". In fact, I've decided that I want to study to be an herbalist. So if anybody has any ideas, I am all ears.

I have a 17 month old with a urinary tract infection. Just got fucked overby the ER last night. Bastard tried to intimidate me with a spinal tap. Ineed the actual remedy as opposed to antibiotics. As soon as possiblePLEASE. She is getting exhausted because she is screaming in pain so muchTHANK YOU ALL,I am confused about spinal taps for UTI's!?! I am sure that wouldn't feel nice either.I would try as a start watered down cranberry juice. It sticks to the bladder walls and causes bacteria not to stick. There is tons of information out there if you wish to do a search, it should come up very easily. Also, cranberry juice doesnt create the acidy reaciton like some juices do. I gave Gage cranberry juice before other juices so he wouldn't get a rash before. Do you know any thing that could have caused the UTI? Erin Federal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1. Wonderful Shelby!!! If the cranberry worked that fast it was very likely a UTI like you said, as that's what cranberry works on, not other things (sigh) The best way for studying herbalism is to get books by authors you respect (my favorites are the green pharmacy by james a. duke, herbs for health and healing by Kathi Keville, and a few select others. Also, these groups - I have learned a pile full of information online through the years, nothing better than interaction and learning through your experience and others.)
