Guest guest
My 16 year old had one today along with her adenoids. I am not really in agreement with this, but she's with my mother in Florida and had a sore throat every week it seemed. Anyhow....she's got her first job as summer help at the DOT down there and only has one week for recovery. I was wondering if yall would be so kind as to give me some ideas on something my mother can get to help her heal quicker? She's allergic to penicillin and codeine...all kinds of antibiotics and pain meds. I think that's why she kept getting sick...they'd throw her on antibiotics for a sore throat. Anyhow, she's had trouble with osteomelitis (sp?). That's where she broke her collar bone on the trampoline and got some kind of infection, then it went into her bones before the collar bone could heal. We don't want to take any chances with any more of that stuff, it took FOREVER to get rid of it. They say that the collar bone is healed, but it's still filling in with new bone...so, I am afraid there could still be room for infection, I don't know... Anyhow, she also has trouble with her hormones, more so than just normal teen hormone imbalance, so please don't give me anything that would make that worse. I told my mother this morning to have Abigail's hormone levels checked (her insurance covers anything) and I would ask yall about that too... She and my mom are sooooo allergic or sensitive to anything allopathic I don't have to worry too much about them taking gobs of junk. By the way, my mom wants to get on this list...how do I send her an invitation or link to ? Do I just send her the link to the home page of the list? Thanks folks, yall have a good weekend.
