Guest guest
I have those too. I seem to get more when I eat meat. It's getting ready to come to a head. For the band-aid, I would put a band aid over it. This has worked wonders for me. I have had boils down there for years & know how to defeat the evil buggers. For the whole getting rid of it, I might suggest a Epsom salt bath, at it's supposed to draw out toxins. Guest guest
My advice? I helped someone a couple of years ago get rid of a nasty boil on his hip. I used hot water...as hot as you can stand it as a compress to bring it to a head and then drain it with a sterilized needle. I must say, that was gross, even by my standards. But it brought him instant relief. From then on it was just a matter of healing. I also like the ideas of the epsom salts and the tea tree. The way I would encorporate that would be to possibly dissolve the epsom salts as a strong solution in the hot water and use that as a compress...apply the tea tree after it's been drained. Guest guest
I have those a lot at the moment - started when I started taking Total Tonic! As there are lymph nodes/channels there, I think it's my body trying to detox. So yes, a body cleanse should handle that. Suzi, this is why I need the cleanse :-) love, Lisa - Shelby Blakely herbal remedies Friday, May 23, 2003 1:35 AM RE: [herbal remedies] Boil advice I have those too. Guest guest
Hello...I am a perpetual lurker. Just wanted to tell you that after bringing the boil to a head. You can drain it by inverting a soda bottle filled with warm water over the boil. It will pull the contents of the boil into the bottle. My daughter had a nasty one on her face and I was so afraid of scarring but this method worked beautifully. Well back to lurking.
