Guest guest
Hello, I'm new here. Been lurking and learning for some weeks now. I've been diagnosed this year with fibromyalgia. Have studied it from the traditional perspective, the psychological/emotional perspective and even come to have a healthier spiritual perspective because of this condition. My problem is that the traditional docs have really sent me on a pharmaceutical journey that I think has done more damage than good. I've gotten myself off at least ten different types of drugs that I tried for the three or four month period they all suggest before admiting that the side effects were worse than the fibro symptoms. Now I'm trying to approach this from a holistic point of view. I've hooked up with a series of formulas all designed to replace what nutrients I'm deficient in. The company that produces these is called 4 Life and there are six different types of supplements I take called the FibroFree program. I've tried taking these for four months, then off for two or three months and can definitely see improvement when I'm taking them. So that's helping. My questions is that my chiropractor suggested I take Essiac Tea...half stregth to cleans my lymphatic system since I don't seem to be able to process toxins the way most people do. I was getting weekly massages to help with the pain and toxic build-up and that was helping. But I developed severe abdominal pain (like uteran/bladder area), had painful menses and oh so painful sex. My doctors suggested a laparoscopy and a dialation of my urethra (have had this done three times previously). Both procedures were done last week and they found nothing but text-book organs and tissues. Have any of you any advice for me? Could a toxic build-up be responsible for the ab pains? Would the Essiac Tea be the best way to cleanse my system on a regular basis (since my body doesn't seem to be doing that as it should)? I'm eating healthfully...almost a vegetarian and no dairy, citrus, sugar, white flour, meat or animal products occasionally. Thanks for listening! Sorry this was so long!!!
