Guest guest
Erica, I think the best thing to do for advice on herbs would be to read Susun Weed's Wise Woman Herbal for the Childbearing Years. Or you can check out her site at www.susunweed.com. There's a search engine on the first page if you scroll down and you might be able to find a lot of info there. Best of luck to your friend. I spend a lot of time talking with women who are having lots of trouble conceiving, as am I myself. So I sympathize with her and I hope she can find the answer she needs to be able to go the natural route this time. I was simply looking for advice regarding what herbs would be safe to bring on her periods (or ovulation) while breast feeding. Aside from wanting a big family (and she's in her early 30s) she has also suffered horribly from endometriosis for years. She has been told by her physician that the endo is starting to come back with a vengeance and her best bet for conceiving would be now. She had a VERY difficult time conceiving the first and eventually turned to modern medicine. So, that's her story in a nutshell. I know there are a ton of herbs she could take to get her body going - I simply want to make sure the herbs I recommend to her are safe while lactating. Thanks! Erica The New Search - Faster. Easier. Guest guest
I agree the endo should be dealt with first before thinking about conceiving again. And yes a total cleanse would be the first thing to do, along with healthy eating. Then the preg issue will be much easier.
