It could be very similiar to the P.P. recipe. It is a very old mixture, I have only known about it for 17 years, and it has only been in the last 5 years or so I thought to tell people to use it instead of coffee. It works well for them to replace their coffee. They end up eliminating one or more cups of coffee a day, and don't have to try to remember to incorporate the 2,2 and 2 " elixir " at some point in their day. Many times it's their first step at cleaning up their diets too, which is great as they definately feel a bit of what they will exerience with more change.
