Guest guest
Chaparral: I have used this herb externally for pain, and infections of numerous types. I have made carrier oils containing chaparral for others as well. It's a great Christmas gift. Especially for those who suffer with arthritic type (and other) pain. In carrier oils, and used externally, it is one of the best herbs for pain that I have run across, especially arthritic type pain. This herb is also popular for it's cancer fighting abilities and it's ability to make cancer " leap " from the body. The Indians still include chaparral in their cancer fighting remedies today. Because the FDA says that 2 people, out of the thousands that have used it, over hundreds of years, in the early 90's had suffered liver damage from it's use, oral use of chaparral has been banned. Only God knows why or even IF the liver damage was related to Chaparral. They assumed it MAY have been the culprit as it was the only thing they could find those two individuals were using in common. I knew many, many people who used it in very concentrated forms in the early 80's for many reasons, but mostly for it's anti viral properties, (which resulted in molds falling off of the body). They had used the herb for many months in succession too, not just days and weeks. Never knew anyone to have sustained any liver damage. It is wild crafted from New Mexico. It is recommended to use it in tea form to make very careful doses, and not use it in capsules as doses can vary. All costs should be counted when seeking any treatment, but fortunately and thank the Lord, the choice is ours. bt
