The saline solution is fine but some dribbles down and irritates a raw throat. Guest guest
i would definitely suggest keeping to the salt/water mixture as it is gentler on your nasal passage...but maybe if you are using a pre- mixed saline solution try mixing your own so that you can vary the amount of salt--it may be that the solution is too concentrated and irritating your throat as a result. try one cup of purified warm water with 1/2 teaspoon of salt...and then play with the measurements if this is still irritating. luv laura herbal remedies , " Don Quai " <mysticalherbalist> wrote: > What about using just plain old distilled water? > > Don Quai > - > cvansteenbergen > herbal remedies > Saturday, May 10, 2003 1:03 AM > [herbal remedies] nasal irrigation > > > I am doing jala neti nasal irrigation.
