Guest guest
Hello Everyone, Wayne's finger is doing pretty good. He went for his check up yesterday and the surgeon (plastic surgeon specializing in hand surgery) was really surprised at how well the finger looked. As soon as he got the bandage off, he looked at it...and I could see the surprise on his face. He turned around and looked at me but didn't say anything. (Maybe it was me being paranoid, I just knew he was going to have a fit because we were doing stuff on our own.) Anyhow, he said Wayne can start to let it breath for a couple of hours everyday and start to let the water from the shower run over it. We've already been doing that, except for the shower water. I wouldn't feed that stuff to my cats it's sooo nasty...so, we'll continue to cover it when Wayne takes a shower for now... Anyhow, I think I have problems now. I really don't know what's wrong with me. I feel like I have been run over and just left in the middle of the road. More specifically, I have this cough and congestion that is really miserable. My head and chest aches when ever I have these cough attacks and the phlegm tastes like metal. It's really hard to breath when ever I lay down...even propped up. My throat is sore and I have a low grade fever around 99.6. But, my temperature usually runs lower than 98.6. Here's the kicker...I haven't taken any total tonic or Echinacea Plus or anything else because I also realized that my period is about two weeks over due and my breast are so tender they feel like they've been through one of those old fashioned washing machine ringers. I have never been one to have the ability to puke spontaneously on sight or smell. This old belly is usually pretty tough. In the last week though, just about everything I eat is soo good to start with and then the last couple of bites are repulsive, so much so that I can't make my teeth chew the food. A couple of days ago I was at Wal-Mart and threw up all in the parking lot. I couldn't believe it. I was soooo embarrassed I left before going inside. I have been pregnant three times and never once puked. I was nauseous a couple of times, but never did anything actually come up. What do you guys think? Can I still take the TT and Eceanacia. I am sooo miserable right now I can't stand myself. Thanks, Angel All incoming and outgoing scanned with NAV for both our protection. Guest guest
Yes I second Just stay away from herbs like Rosemary because they cause uterine contractions. I would also take the garlic in the other end- preferably in the form of a steam... slicke it or mince it (whatever is easiest)... I would do this to about three cloves. Put this in a bowl and pour hot water. Suspend a towel around your head to make a tent. Place your head twelve inches and breathe... aaa... Ihad two months worth of sinus pain and did this (I also added onion) and the next day I felt so much better. You can also cut an onion in half and leave it by your bed at night. Drink water with lemon too, and squeeze half a lemon and mix it with some water and ice cubes and use this as a compress to help break the fever. Nothing too aggresive- the fever is low enough so you can actually let it run its course.Suzanne Nottmeier <suziesgoats wrote: Angel, :Yes you can!!! Take the TT every 3-4 hours several dropperfuls.. the echinacea twice a day. and take a garlic clove, slice longways, cover in olive oil and stick it up your rectum...(ass)... the garlic will help immensely and quickly... do this when you go to bed... Trust me it does work. None of these will hurt you if you are pregnant. Suzi PS Glad to hear Wayne is doing better...... Anjeweleyes <anjewelhaze wrote: Anyhow, I think I have problems now. Guest guest
Erin, Total tonic is safe when pregnant or nursing and it has garlic in it.. SuziErinJC23 wrote: AngelI have read echinacea can be taken during pregnancy but you will want to double check. As for garlic I have read many places its not good during pregnancy as its too harsh for the baby and causes colic (can) when breastfeeding. That may or may not be different during actual pregnancy. The New Search - Faster. Easier. Bingo.
Guest guest
Totally false. It might make your milk a little garlicy in taste, but won't hurt the baby at all. Might even help the baby detox from drugs absorbed during birth if they were used. Love, Doc Ian "Doc" Shillington N.D.505-772-5889Dr.IanShillington Doc would be able to answer this question... I can't believe that garlic thru the mom in breastfeeding would be bad.Suzi I cant swear by it but have read in several places eating too much garlic and then breastfeeding can cause distress in an infant's stomach, resembling colic or similiar to it.Erin
