Guest guest
Cathie, Don't throw it out... you can still use it. Here is what Doc wrote some time back The reason you don't want to use just the shell is that the inside of the shell has a membrane on it that contains albumin. It would not be horrendous to do it this way, but the whole idea is to have a mineral supplement without anything else mixed into it. Sometimes the egg shells crack and you get this anyway so it is not hurtful in any way, but you want to "try" to keep it as pure as possible. You will not hurt yourself with this formula regardless of how you screw it up. Guest guest
I'VE GOTTEN EGG IN MY LEMON EGG SEVERAL TIMES AND IT HAS BEEN JUST FINE. HONESTLY, I COULDN'T TELL ANY DIFFERENCE. MY ONLY THOUGHT ON IT IS IT MAY NOT LAST QUITE AS LONG IN THE FRIDGE BUT WE ALWAYS USE IT UP IN A WEEK OR TWO AND IT IS GOOD THIS LONG OR LONGER. THE TIMES I'VE NOT BROKEN THE EGGS INTO IT, IT HAS BEEN GOOD FOR OVER A MONTH. THE ONLY REASON I KNOW THIS IS BECAUSE I FORGOT ABOUT IT AND IT WAS STILL GOOD WHEN I DISCOVERED IT ON THE BACK OF THE SHELF.
