I would consider finding another naturopath.

Hello All

I have been lurking on this list for a little while and have found much of the information really helpful in my quest for wellness.Dr Shillington posted the free lecture tape to me all the way to Australia (in which I was most greateful at his generosity :o) ) and quite frankly made a lot of sense to me and got my brain working :o).

A question if I may please. I am currently being treated by a naturopath who believes in the D` Adamo "Eat Rite For Your Type" Dietary Programme. Many of the "cures" that I see upon this list is against the D`Adamo programmes philosophy of "harmful lectins" for my blood type , even though many upon this list ( of varied blood groups) find them invaluable regardless of blood type . For example, I am an "A" blood group and have some heart arrhythmia problems and I notice that there is a mention of a cayenne pepper tincture which is beneficial for the heart as well as many other tincture recipes found in the file section, but I have been told by the naturopath that it is not good for me as it will go against me and thicken my blood (per D`Adamo's theory). Needless to say I am not totally convinced by it.

I am rather confused about all of these issues and would be interested in some opinions regarding the D` Adamo programme generally, if I may?

Kindest Regards
