Guest guest
2 Sticks margerine (approx. 16 Tbsp) 1/2 lb. Sharp Cheddar Cheese, grated 2 1/4 C Flour (plain) 2 C Rice Crispies 1/2 t Salt 1/4 t Red pepper (I used powdered cayenne) Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Mix cheese, flour, crispies, salt and pepper together. Rub in the margerine, and shape into 1/2 inch balls. Put on ungreased baking sheet and press down with fork. Bake 15-20 minutes or until lightly golden, with a firm bottom;) Serve either warm or cold, both are equally good. Being new to organics and healthy eating... I haven't tried this with wholemeal flour or anything... but I think it would work OK... I used slightly more pepper than called for, as it tastes better when spicy. If you try alternatives, let me know as I am curious how they turn out... Enjoy, Rachel
