Hi All, Walla ! I went into the bowels of the archive and pulled out the answer to my question. Took me bout an hour of searching, so I might as well share it will any others who had forgotten or were wondering themselves:

Doc and I strongly recommend that all nuts, seeds, grains, rice and beans

be soaked and sprouted before they are eaten or cooked. So to get even more out of your almonds, soak them for approximately 12 hours and sprout them for at least a day.
