Guest guest
Hello Everyone, I have a question and looking for opinions on the subject and some ideas. I am wondering if my son may have a sleep disorder which is causing his outbreaks in school. He had a tougher day today and somewhat yesterday. Even though he does go to bed early he was restless the past few nights. He snores sometimes not every night. He was cranky yesterday and today as soon as he got home from school and grabbed his pillow and was sucking his thumb (which he does when he is usually tired). I was reading up on sleep apnea and it states that often times children show signs of hyperactivity because they are fighting to stay awake. I also read how doctors might suggest removing tonsils/adnoids. I did mention the snoring to the pediatrician months ago and he prescribed an allergy medication, but I don't want to give my child that every night. I don't really think he needs it--he's not stuffy. Sooooo, I would love your opinions and possible suggestions. Thank you all so much!
