Guest guest
I did an archive search and found " no matches " for a search for keyword Ephedra. I'm wondering what such a brilliant group of well informed people will have to say about this herb. Me, personally, it strikes a difficult vein in me when I hear talk of banning ANY herb, because I was Practically permanently disabled by taking the birth control pill as a young post pregnant woman of 28. I have heard tell from nurses the horror stories of young women coming into the hospital having clotted on the pill due to genetic tendencies that are " warned about " in the fine print but which the doctor will not test for. I have heard horror stories of the 22 year old woman who came in with a debilitating Stroke from clotting on the pill. How is it that this type of thing can be swept under the rug, and everyone is so trigger happy to ban herbs at the first sign of any side effect. Granted, sudden death is a pretty serious side effect! I'm interested to hear thoughts on this, from people who are not " anti-herb " brainwashed. And it occurs to me, this is a good place to aske such a question. Peace, Love and Poetic License, Cathie
Guest guest
When I took this herb, and yes, it does work like they say it does, I had severe heart irythmia and even blacked out once. One time shortly after taking this herb I went to the hospital with a heart rate of 177. --- WillowShade40 wrote: > I did an archive search and found " no > matches " for a search for > keyword Ephedra. > I'm wondering what such a brilliant group of > well informed people will > have to say about this herb. > Me, personally, it strikes a difficult vein > in me when I hear talk of > banning ANY herb, because I was Practically > permanently disabled by taking > the birth control pill as a young post pregnant > woman of 28.
