Hi Phyllis,

 

There is absolutely nothing wrong with eating garlic that has begun to sprout. As for Parsley tea, Very good for gall bladder problems, gall stones, gravel, aches in the lumbar region, (congestion, irritation, inflammation of kidneys), cystitis, hepatitis, obstruction of liver and spleen, swollen glands, anemia, and many many more. It is a good tea for anyone to drink.

[herbal remedies] Garlic and Parsley questions

Hi All, Recently, there was a discussion on keeping garlic fresh. I would like to know if it is harmful to eat garlic when it has started sprouting? Drinking parsley tea:-- what are the benefits? Hi Phyllis,

 

Either way works. With fresh you generally need more than with dried. This is usually true with most herbs. But if you are lucky enough to have fresh organic parsley than by all means use it. Taste better anyway.

Thanks Don. One other question on parsley tea:-- Am I right in assuming it is much better to make tea from fresh organic parsley over dried organic parsley in bags? Phyllis
