Guest guest Posted February 21, 2003 Report Share Posted February 21, 2003 Hi out there! My son has an infection under the skin of the tip of his middle finger. He has no cuts or scrapes or insect bite looking sites. It is swollen, red, hot and tender. All classic signs of cellulitis. I do not want to get him an injection if I can avoid it. Right now he is soaking his finger in hot water with Epsom Salts and tea tree oil. Any ideas? This just started today. Thanks in advance.
