Guest guest
I take chasteberry in tincture and dong quai in capsule (the tincture is a little too strong for my stomach) in the morning and in the evening for fertility and I drink nettle, red raspberry and red clover tea every day. The rr and rc are also for fertility. We're trying to conceive so I don't want to take any herbs that might interfere or be harmful to a fetus. What else do you suggest? Guest guest
Suzi, Yes, I regularly consume olive oil and wheat germ oil and flax seed and I eat fish so I think I've got my EFA's covered. I'm sort of doing my own Udo's this way. My naturopath's first suspicion was an EFA deficiency. Every time I start taking an oil the problem starts to abate a bit but then it comes back with a venegeance. Can I get your opinion on something? A principal of homeopathy is that a condition will often get worse before it gets better as a result of the treatment. Can this principal be applied to nutrition and herbology as well? I'mm thinking that I just have to keep going with the oil for a while and that the fact that my finger is worse now is just an indication that healing will begin soon. Guest guest
Take Wild Yam Root for a month. Although this will make you less fertile during the month (the american indian used this as a contraceptive), you will become hyper fertile after you come off of it. Guest guest
Dear Ilana, This principle seems to work in just about every area of healing. Another way of stating it is, "What turns it on, will turn it off". This is especially true when dealing with an herb like Echinacea where there is an apparency of an allergy (a detox) brought about by the herb.
