Guest guest
Strangely enough, wound healing is enhanced by the use of moist ointments, and it is better still if the wound closes but a scab does not form. Try the following: Equal parts of: Vitamin E, pressed from an opened capsule Comfrey salve , available in health food stores " A & D " ointment from the drugstore. Calendula ointment, from health food store (I think it has a lard base) Mix well together and apply to the affected area quite thickly. Cover with plastic disposable gloves, taped closed at the wrists. You should wear this to sleep but you can go around all day with it on, too. This works extremely well. If your wound keeps opening up, dry the wound thoroughly, put some of the ointment on the cut and close with a " butterfly bandage " and then put more oitment on the hads. Put the plastic gloves on again if possible. Keep the calendula and comfrey ointments in the fridge at all times. Fran
Guest guest
Then yes try a salve... check the member recipes i know there is a wonderful one in there and possibly some others... I make one that (lol) has everything but the kitchen sink..... covers a multitude of things.... but comfrey, calendula and E are good.... add some tea tree or lavendar too. I make mine with beeswax and olive oil.... Suzi Ilana Grostern <ilana wrote: Yeah, undoubtedly, but it's not going to happen there. I would like to see him get an ounce of relief, though.ILANA xoxo Send Flowers for Valentine's Day
