The egg are quite delicate after 30 hours or so. 48 hours is the maximum time to leave the eggs in. If you are successfull in removing them without breaking them, then you can use the eggs. You can definitely use the lemmon egg even if some egg has gotten into it. It may not last quite as long in the fridge but it is fine to use it. I made two jars and broke an egg in both jars- so can I use washed egg shells (from already used eggs to do the same thing?
