Hey Yall,

My name is Angel.

I am so glad I found this list, I can't believe it's been here since

1998 and I haven't thought to search for it.

This is my delimma (sp?):

My husband's only true friend was diagnosed (by a allopathic doctor)

in 2001 with a " tumor " the size of an orange on the brain. He had

surgery and the doctor's told him they " got it all " but just to make

sure there were no other " fingers " (I'd call them roots) he needed

to have radiation and chemo.

Well, his daughter has all this herb knowledge as she used to run a

little shop that sold herbs and natural remedies so she had a fit

for him to see a " Herb Doctor " is all we were told. Well, he decided

to take the radiation and agreed for his daughter to put him on this

diet of all organic foods with no flour, sugar, processed,

preservatives, (I'm sure yall know what I'm talking about). We

thought he was going to turn into an apple or carrot he drank so

much of the juices, and they had to be freshly made every day. He

said he could feel grains of sand like substance coming out of his

pours when he sweat.

Well, he did get to go back to work for a while and everyone was

totally amazed and really believing in miracles again. Then, a year

later he went for a check up MRI and they said the tumor was back

and growing very fast. (Ha! From what I've read so far I think the

dang radiation give him the NEW tumor)

Anyway, his allopathic doctor told him he'd die if he didn't have

another operation. He didn't want no more cutting on him, so the

doctor wanted to give him this massive dose of radiation to kill the

tumor. Well, my friend went for this because he couldn't deal with

the fact of dying. And believe it or not even after the radiation

the allopathic doctor only gave him three weeks to live. I don't

know why he didn't talk to his daughter about this, but after the

second MRI he stopped talking to everyone, so maybe he never told

her about it.

Well, as you probably guessed, my friend went way down, way fast.

That massive blast was in May or June 2002 and by September he

couldn't walk without a walker. By October he had to retire from a

company he'd been at for almost 20 years. (They gave him a good

retirement anyway.)

In December he was having days of confusion and Short Term Memory

Loss. And last month he lost all use of his left side. In the last

couple of weeks he's been real, real confused, he sometimes looses

control of his bladder and his wife says that he's not had a bowel

movement in three days.

I know the diet and herbs would work if she would do them like his

daughter has taught her too, but she uses it when it's convenient

for her.

At this point, right now I am wondering what I expect yall to be

able to tell me or help me with myself so I know yall are wondering

the same thing...

I wanted yall to know the situation so you can answer my question. I

have offered to help with physical therapy on his arm and leg. His

daughter said that would be great, but she didn't go into detail.

Only to use Peppermint Oil (Wow, I think that stuff is better than

Eucalyptus for the sinuses!). My question is, is there anything that

I might do to hurt him if he can't feel it?

And, as bad as I hate to even think it...Is the symptoms I have

described so far such that it will do any good at all?

We continue to go over there and talk with him, he still knows

everyone, he's just mixed up on current situations. And we are right

next door, so every time he falls out of bed we always go right over

to help him.

It's just that I really thought they were torturing him so I started

reading up on alternative medicine and now my husband thinks I know

everything and he asked me the other night if I thought his friend

would make it very much longer or if he'd be walking by Spring like

his daughter is telling everyone and I don't know what to tell

him...and I thought someone on here could give me some advice.

I'm sorry for such a long post, and right off the bat, but it's kind

of really important. Every one I have come across in this line of

work has been really great so I am hoping that even if you can't

help, at least you won't cut my throat for being so forward and

windy.

Thanks for any help,

Angel

Deep tissue oil for the arm would be a good thing. Recipe in the files.. Sounds like a good detox would be in order also... Essiac would have been a good thing in the beginning for the tumor.. Cayenne definitely would help also... i.e. habenero peppers... or a tincture... there are several posts in the message archives on cayenne pepper or capsium... to tell you all the cayenne does.

Angel, sounds like advanced stages of brain tumor. I take it he is not drinking the organic juices anymore? This is definitely one for Doc. I would also suggest you look up Essiac tea on the net. And you can never be too "long winded" on this list sweets, we like lots of information. Sounds like your name is a good description of you ;-)
