Every country is different though. If it isn't certified organic then what exactly are you putting into your body? Pesticides, herbicides, chemical fertilizers, what else? It may be very miniscule but these toxins tend to stay in the body and build up over time till they wreak severe havoc on your system. Lord knows we have all put enough of them into our bodies before we became "Organically Enlightened" and "Illuminated into Health Consciousness"! Now we have to get them out if we wish to continue into the "Golden Years" with any semblance of good health. Why keep adding more when you really want to be taking away. I've also heard that Canada will not allow commercially US grown strawberries into the country because they are too heavily pesticided. Not sure if this data is correct but this is what I've been told. Unfortunately, it seems the US is less strict on all of these issues. The one that really got me most recently was that the FDA wants to not label GMO foods as such because it will hurt the industires producing these products.
