Guest guest
I have heard that if you place salt in beans they will cook slower and sometimes not become soft. Has anyone experienced this? I've had it happen where I cook and cook the beans and they do not cook and I had salt in the water. Ever since I have soaked the beans first, and then cooked them all by themselves (without salt or spices), they have always gotten sofe quite quickly. Once they are cooked, then I add all my wonderful spices and salt. Would love to hear the experience of others regarding this.
