Guest guest
Filtered/unfiltered, pasteurized or raw, honey has no more nutritional value than white sugar, according to my college nutrition classes and other reading. Our bodies break them down into the same simple sugars. The value in the organic/raw is that the less processed something is, the less likely you are to be adding toxins and crap to your system. And the more processing anything goes through, the more likely it is tainted with processing chemicals, or infected with molds and such. Even organic raw honey can harbor molds in it but I have read that you can detox it by adding vitamin C powder to the honey after you open a new jar. Hmm, never thought about those bee legs though - oh, well just adds character and crunch!
