Guest guest
This is called sciatica hon and lots of people get it. It is a nerve that gets inflamed, which is why the pain seems to shoot from your hip, over your butt down your leg. Usually it is caused by a slow digestion. If you have constipation problems, check the files for Doc's intestinal cleanse #1. To ease the pain, take a hot bath in some epsom salts, then an ice pack, then a heating pad... it is the hot/cold/hot/cold that relieves the pain. Take a look at your diet and see what might be the underlying cause of this situation. And good for you in not giving over your health to doctor, when you can help yourself :-) Janet - Piscesangel7 herbal remedies Wednesday, February 05, 2003 7:13 AM [herbal remedies] Question on Hip Pain Hi Everyone,I have had a pain in my hip area for a few weeks now.My husband keeps telling me to go to the doctors, but I am just not a doctor person and know that Iwill be sent from one place to another. Here is the situation.....it hurts after I am sittingfor a period of time such as at my desk at work, onthe recliner watching TV, etc. Hurts more at night. It doesn't hurt at all when I am laying down sleepingor sitting or even just standing. Guest guest
I recently had something like this, I could barely walk and laying down was a pain in the - well leg. I went to the chiro, and that and ice really helped. Another underlying cause is crossing your legs at the knees or turning your leg out. It should be in straight front alignment. Also a cause is soft chairs. Something more solid and straight-backed is best and always sit with your back to the back, not at the front of the seat. An exercise for this is to sit in a straight back chair and (this is the only time you are allowed to do this) cross your leg over your other knee. Reach through the leg and then pull slightly until you feel the strain. Hold for 30 seconds. Do the other side. Do this 2x a day. Hope this helps.
