Guest guest
Hi Folks: I am usually a lurker but am coming out of " hiding " because I have developed " unstable angina " . There is a family history of this and many have died in their 50's (I am 52) because of this condition which often leads to a heart attack. I am " anti-doctor " especially because I am on Social Security Disability and must use a very poor state-issued HMO managed care type of insurance which I have had nightmarish problems with. I am at the age where I can not afford doctor error and choose to treat/control this new condition on my own. Does anyone on the list know of any herbal supplement which is fairly cheap and been around for a while either in capsule form or as a tea which can help with the symptoms of angina? Any feedback on this issue would be greatly appreciated and please do not tell me " see my doctor " because although I know this type of advice is given with a caring heart, I just am not in a position to do so. Thank you in advance and God Bless. Love & Light, Lynne (California) Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable. Sign up now. http://mailplus.

Guest guest
Here is an article Doc wrote a long time ago...on cayenne... I think you'll see this is one herb you definitely want. Suzi CayenneDr. Richard Schulze thinks so highly of this herb that he recently wrote a 113 page book on cayenne entitled "Curing With Cayenne". This herb helps every other herb work better because it stimulates the circulation of blood to get the herbs and nutrition to the cells. Cayenne also reduces blood pressure, stops fainting and hemorrhaging, is the first-aid for strokes and heart attacks and relieves the pain of angina pectoris by getting more blood to the heart muscle itself.Schulze: "Cayenne is used if the person is feeling faint, or if they are going to pass out, or if they are getting shaky and you want to get them stimulated, and if more blood to the head will bring them back to earth. Cayenne and ginger are used for strokes and brain damage. If I could have one thing, it would be cayenne pepper. Because cayenne pepper and/or ginger stimulate the cerebral circulation. This is a first-aid for stroke, because cayenne immediately reduces the blood pressure and stimulates the circulation. I’ve had patients I got to within hours of having a stroke. I immediately administered cayenne. I would say a tablespoon three times a day at least for the first couple of days. Then you can stay on a teaspoon three or four times a day. Cayenne pepper is the first thing you want to think of, and ginger. Ginger is also very effective. . . . It’s felt that ginger goes to the smaller blood vessels and capillaries and increases your peripheral circulation, and that cayenne goes to the heart more.Cayenne stops hemorrhaging. There's the story of a case where the application of a strong cayenne powder stopped excessive bleeding in 2 seconds.I used cayenne and other herbs to save a woman who was dying of coronary collapse. . . . If you have heart disease, you should have cayenne pepper in your house, your car, your office, and your briefcase at all times. I have had at least 20-30 patients over the years who have had a stroke right in my waiting room. . . . I saw his blood vessels enlarge, then explode right in front of me. Then he fell to the floor with astroke. I gave him a mouthful of cayenne tincture, and he walked home.I have seen many patients, in the midst of a stroke, come out of it right away, by immediately giving them cayenne pepper.A heaping tablespoon in a glass of warm water, or 10 dropperfuls of tincture. This is also the treatment and dosage for someone having a heart attack.Cayenne is most effective for heart and blood circulation problems, and for angina pectoris, palpitations, and cardiac arrhythmia. It’s a miracle for congestive heart failure. It is a specific for anyone who has any type of circulatory problems, such as high or low blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, triglycerides and fats, even varicose veins. With the heart, cayenne is great for prevention as well as for the treatment of disease. It relieves the pain of angina pectoris by helping to get more blood to the heart muscle itself. And, if a person has a heart attack, cayenne is the surest first aid remedy. I have had around a hundred people actually save their lives by using a tablespoonful of cayenne pepper in a glass of warm water, or 10 dropperfuls of the tincture, and drinking it down fast. In every case, it brought the person right out of it with minimal damage, some with no damage at all."Sam Biser: "Does cayenne have any effect on sugar?Schulze: "Yes, just by stimulating the circulation, making your blood flow better. One of the things that happens with diabetics is that the circulation of their blood gets horrible. Sometimes, they even have their extremities amputated in serious cases. . . . When you have better circulation, you have better hormonal communication between your endocrine organs, such as the pancreas. If your blood is thick, it takes longer for your organs to get the chemical feedback messages they depend on.Cayenne tincture saved a six week old baby on the edge of not breathing and another one that wasn’t breathing well. Midwives in Utah put a little cayenne salve on their hands and rub it into every newborn babies back. They say it is the greatest for bringing babies to the planet." Guest guest
Hi Ilana, Burn your face off? I still have my face and have been consuming cayenne for as long as I can remember. Is that tolerable? Well that is relative. For me, yes. You? Maybe not. But if it were saving your life you might not mind it too much. LOL Yes, I do believe that too much cayenne may not be good. But I don't know of anyone who has found the limits yet and there again, that would only be relative to a persons point of view. Maybe consuming 3 tablespoons of cayenne daily for the rest of your life may or may not be good for you. Alcohol is much better at getting the capsicum out of the cayenne then ACV but you can use acv. It will still work, may just take a while longer is all. Guest guest
Tincture the powder or dry and grind up the whole chili and tincture it. Either way, you will get some good cayenne. Although, it is usually better to buy the hottest atomic peppers you can find or ground up cayenne. The hotter the better for you. Guest guest
Hi Ilana, Cayenne will not damage your tastebuds nor any of your mucus membranes. Garlic, on the other hand, will burn your mucus membranes if eaten straight by itself. Even though your mouth may feel on fire from the cayenne it is doing no damage. Garlic is another story. Doesn't matter what you put cayenne in it is gonna burn somewhat. Hehehe. I love this stuff.
