Hi Tom here when I work in the market in my 20's .The meat section when

the hambugger was going bad would take it back and regrind it with the

new meat and put it back on the shelf.

Hmmmm. Not to sure about the accuracy of this. Our freshly

laid

eggs are smooth! We have 13 hens laying for us in the coop

out

back. :) The only safe way to have eggs IMO.

The float-sink test is the best test for freshness. You place

them

in cold water and if they float the are old-if the sink the are

fresh! HTH! :o)
