I found an interesting site, actually, on the subject. It's found at http://www.notmilk.com/

It's pretty hard core but gives you a lot of useful information on the subject.

Wow, now there's a can of worms that's worth opening. There's so much

information out there based on the idea that cow milk isn't fit for human

consumption, and not just in regards to all the pesticides, antibiotics,

steroids, etc, that are added to it. I'm sure you'll get a TON of opinions

on the subject, but my opinion is that it's better to stay away from milk

entirely and find substitutes if necessary. We are the only species on earth

that consumes another animal's milk and the only species that drinks milk

past infancy. That's something to think about right there.

My two cents,

I wonder if they do the same thing with white milk because sometimes it doesn't seem 'quite as fresh'

either? Would it be better to drink

soy milk? I was just wondering.

I can get organic non-gmo soy milk here in Canada.

Ilana,

I can get a brand that says non GMO too, however, you can't guarantee that it wasn't processed in a factory that is also producing GMO soy. Doc says on his tape that most times the machines aren't cleaned between runs, so that means our non GMO soy is tainted with GMO soy too. Hope this helps.
