I have a small dog that has a small growth on his leg. We have been treating it with a herbal ointment. There has been a bloody pus coming out and it seems to be getting better. I have been giving him PauD'arco extract along with a red clover blend tea. He has lost a little weight but seems to be energetic when he is awake. For a while he has had a obsession with licking his front legs/feet. What has me very concerned is yesterday, when he urinated it has blood in it. I know there should be a way to help him to get better. Is there something more I can do? I am scared it might be cancer as he is 12 years old. I would appreciate any help with this. Ellie

Yes, I am familiar with Essiac, just need to figure where to get some

real quick. He is a Boston Terrior. The ointment has, olive oil,

chapparal,lobelia,comfrey,golden seal root,plantain root,red clover,

muelian, marshmallow, chickweed, myrrh gum, vit e oil in it. He isn't

eating or drinking as much as usual. Thank you, Janet, I appreciate

yours and Suzi's quick response. I am worried sick about him after

seeing the blood.

local vet ASAP as he may have a blockage and that can get serious

rather quickly. What breed is he and what ointment are you using for

his leg?

Poor little guy :( Good ointment. Get the Essiac as soon as you can. It will help with his appetite as well. Ply him with as much clean water as you can possibly get him to drink. Gently pinch up about an inch of skin on his back between your thumb and forefinger and let it go, if it falls right back he is getting enough fluids, if it is slow to fall back flat he is dehydrated. Get some strained lamb meat baby food and add that to his regular food, sometimes that will entice them to eat. I will check in later tonight to see if there has been any change.

This might be too late seeing as you probably already been to the healthfood store. But flax oil mixed in cottage cheese given 3x per day is very beneficial for both human and animal with cancer or serious illness, but especially to animal. They really seem to thrive on it. UDO's choice flax seed oil is the best.

Dear Ellie,

If you check the "Blood Detox" formula in the files you'll see that it is similar to the formula you've listed below.

This is what I have all my cancer patients use.
