Guest guest
Don, Even the heavier grains like rye and oats? i can just eat 'em like that? That's great! I've been munching on this huge amount of quinoa all day and just want to be sure I won't make myself sick on them. I'll juice 'em up with my carrots when I get home tonight. My name is Ilana and I'm about to become a sprout-a-holic! Now that the quinoa is sprouted you do not have to worry about enzyme inhibitors and can just eat them the way they are. You never have to cook your grains if you sprout em first. I've never sprouted a grain before. Can I just eat it like seed sprouts, just straight on a salad or should I still be cooking it as if it were a grain (which it is, just a growing one)? Guest guest
Hi Ilana, Welcome to SA. Any grain that is sprouted can be eaten raw. Once sprouted it is then a living plant. Much better for you. No you will not make yourself sick on them. Enjoy!!! Guest guest
Dear Ilana, You can eat it straight or with a salad and this way the enzymes are still intact. This is best. Tell you what. I'll bring the salad dressing and be right over.
