Guest guest Posted January 12, 2007 Report Share Posted January 12, 2007 Vitamin C can reduce the effects of a cold significantly, and can also reduce the period of a cold by up to 50%. So if you have a sour throat, drink lots of cool (non-cold) orange juice to quench the pain. Also take vitamin C supplements for safety.
