Guest guest
I am confused by the conflicting info----apple cider vinegar is supposed to be such a wonder cure yet if you look into candida cleanses, it says to avoid this at all cost because it will promote yeast growth----does anyone know about this? Should you take it or not? I am so run down and have been searching like mad for a cure and I just began taking the vinegar and now I've stumbled on this warning----what should I do??? thanks Golden Phoenix <golden_phoenix42 wrote: or you can just click the go to my group in the little box next to this text and then click edit membership on that page as you will be signed in. --- RSchl44964 wrote: > Go to . > and then to My Groups after you sign in. > Click on Alternative Answers in the list of your > groups. > There you will find the place to . > Writing here will not work. > Peace, > Thyme > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been > removed] > > ghost-cpr/ houstonpi-2/ http://tech.Space-cpr/ http://health.healingthoughts/

Guest guest
Not straight, you would mix it 1 cup clean water 1-2 tsp white vinager. I always swabbed the mouth right after each feeding and the nipple area with a cotton ball after each feeding. Never had to use prescription stuff for thrush. Guest guest
All the information/books I've read on treating a systemic yeast infection says to avoid vinegars. This is the white vinegars, etc. Apple cider vinegar is not the same. Apple Cider Vinegar makes Malic Acid & will kill any yeast it finds in your blood, so it is an important tool in fighting a yeast infection. If you want to read more about apple cider vinegar, get the book Vermont Folk Medicine. I was given a copy of the book years ago by an elderly man who overheard me talk about my father's arthritis. He said it had enabled him to walk again after his doctors were unable to help him because of his severe arthritis. He was so insistant that it would help my father that he bought a copy of the book & gave it to me. I found it on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Folk-Medicine-D-M-D-Jarvis/dp/0883659409 J > I'm wondering if maybe no one is certain about the conflicting info between avoiding apple cider vinegar due to its yeast content and taking it as a health supplement so.........is there anyone out there who is doing a candida cleanse and also taking the a.c.vinegar???? Guest guest
I am currently on the winning side of fighting a yeast infection over the past couple of weeks. I am almost 8 mo preg and my midwife suggested garlic. Peel the clove, don't nick it and insert it. I am mostly over it now and don't feel the need to try it, but I will if I have a recurrence... she also had a great suggestion about a tea tree oil douche. 4 drops of TTO/ 12 ounces of water, douche the area well. TTO has anti fungal properties. I am also on a slew of supplements (yarrow, pau d' arch, caprylic acid, grapefruit seed extract, licorice, eucalyptus, etc) and acidophilus (good bacteria in your digestive tract)... which seems to be helping a great deal. If you have not tried it, try AZO for yeast infections... it helps. Also, calendula cream on the broken out areas will promote skin healing. OH, and cut out all (most) sugars in your diet... yeast feeds on it. You may want to look into an anti-canadia regiment. For UTI's... get AZO for UTI and drink a TON of cranberry juice AND water!! It will clear it up in no time. AND to boost your immune system during an outbreak... you can take 3000 mg of vit C a day. Hope this helps!! Guest guest
Thanks! I am VERY excited about my home waterbirth next month... I love working with a midwife... she is so refreshing compared to the OBGYNs I used with my first two children. LOL, When my husband came home with this product (AZO)... I looked at him like he was crazy, lol. But it really has helped me. It is an over the counter " homeopathic " product that you can use for UTI's or yeast infection. I get mine at Walgreens. Here is their site http://www.azoproducts.com/ On 1/10/07, Ieneke van Houten <ienvan wrote: > > Christen, how nice to hear about > people working with a midwife! > Pardon my ignorance but what is > AZO? > >
