Guest guest
Thanks. I was having another one of my arguments with a friend who was telling me she doesn't go outside without sunblock anymore because she's so scared of skin cancer. Sounds like the way I used to be ever since I heard fair skinned people have 3x the risk of getting skin cancer (wonder why that is). I used to always have sunblock on. But now I just go out every sunny day. Some days I get a little burned but I seem to be building a resistance to the sun which is awesome and I'm even getting a little tan! Lots of freckles to go with, but tan nonetheless! I've noticed in the Winter my depression problems quadruple. I get sick sick sick and depressed a LOT. I don't think it's due to stale air in our house (our windows are so bad you can feel a breeze in here at any given time) so it must be the lack of sun. This Summer when I spend a day outside I feel GREAT!! K enough babbling. Thanks! I forget exactly what it stands for Seasonal A…something Disorder I used to live in Portland Oregon and would get extremely depressed during the winter months. Guest guest
just fill your jar with the fresh flowering tops of st johnswort (I don't like making oils with dried flowers), which is flowering up here now, fill the jar again with organic olive oil ( i generally then take it and put it in the blender (vita mix) for a few seconds to break up the plant matter and then refill the jar. Leave it for 6 weeks and you have st. johnswort infused olive oil. It's wonderful for nerve and muscle problems Bonnie Rogers "infused" just means you put some St. Johnswort in olive oil, right? Guest guest
Jamie, all i can tell you is what I've seen work. You can read lots of information out there that may be correct and may not be. For example, when anyone is having radiation for cancer, the doctors tell you not to use any oil on your skin as it will burn. So you don't you any and the skin is burned anyway The people I know that have put st johnswort oil on prior to radiation, have no burns on them. I use it for a sunscreen all the time and I am very fair and I find it works terrifically. I learned this from Susun Weed, an herbalist up in the catskill mountains. She's been using it for many many years this way. What you hear about photosensitivity is that some animals when they eat the raw plant can have this issue in the fields. Guest guest
Phew those radiation chemicals are nothing to mess around with! I can't believe people actually inject that into their veins! I used to work at a pharmaceutical distribution warehouse in and around "the cooler" where all the really dangerous stuff is. The cooler had windows all around it so you could look in before going in to make sure the person "picking" orders wasn't laying on the floor unconscious. They said if you saw some one pass out RUN in the opposite direction don't go try to help them. And people put that in their veins ON PURPOSE!!!!!! One day I was pulling something off the top shelf standing on a stool and I pulled it off and it went flying over my head and CRASH landed on the floor. Everything around there is pretty much either you're dead in a few seconds from breathing it in or you're alright and I didn't fall over so I went to start cleaning it up (with no gloves....hey, I was 18) and the second that stuff touched my skin it started to burn and turn beat red. It was cancer radiation treatment. Y-U-C-K And HERBS are considered radical! My sup told me that was around $120,000 I'd just broke! WHOOPS! Teensy little vials. WOW. Guest guest
Bloodroot paste (Sanguinaria Canadensis) does work, but must be used with great care and alternated with a healing salve. For more information visit Ingrid Naiman's site on this topic. She is amazing. http://cancersalves.com Ien in the Kootenays http://freegreenliving.com
