It's a member of cruciferous family of vegetables, examples bok choy,

collard greens, kale, kai lan, mustard leaves.

 

1) has ability to scavenge and expel toxins - cancer fighters. Study

on Singaporean chinese women shows lower lung cancer risks, a) non-

smokers by 30%, b) smokers by 69%.

 

2) rich in compounds that stimulate production of enzymes involved in

detoxification – the process by which the colon, liver, kidneys and

lymphatic system get rid of harmful substances from the body.

 

3) raw juice of white cabbage helps soothe peptic ulcers.

 

4) red cabbage vs white cabbage – higher antioxidant, 6~8x more

Thanks, I have always preferred red cabbage, but love cabbage of any kind.
