Guest guest
Hello: I play indoor, sand-court volleyball. (Everyone there plays barefoot.) I'm looking for a foot spray that has some anti-bacterial properties that I can spray on my feet. After the games, I shower in the locker rooms but it still is icky in there plus all the sand. Does anyone know where I can get something I could spray on my feet to kill anything that I may come in contact with? I don't have essential oils on hand so I'm really looking to purchase something. Thanks for your help! Diane mommysdaydream
Guest guest
This sounds like something for Melaleucca. If nobody on the list steps forward, one of my Reflexology clients has a cousin who deals in it. I can ask. Guest guest
Hi Diane, I have a spray that would be ideal. It's not sold as a " foot spray " , but you could certainly use it as such. It's an industrial-strength anti-bacterial/anti-fungal product. It is nontoxic, so you could spray it on your feet. Radicate, from Neways International, contains only two ingredients - water and stabilized chlorine dioxide. This is an ingredient that hospitals use for disinfecting, and it was used to clean up during anthrax scares years ago. Yet it is safe enough to use as a mouthwash... our Eliminator mouthwash contains the same two ingredients, plus mint for taste! You could just dilute some in a spray bottle to carry with you. (I keep a little bottle in my pocketbook.) I'm not sure if I'm allowed to put my link here, especially with the recent talk about " selling " here on the board. Please email me and I can give you more info: A.Healthier.Shana @ gmail.com Blessings, Shana
Guest guest
You could use spray on colloidal silver, either bought or some you make yourself (which is FAR cheaper). CS will kill everything. You could try making your own rosemary water--boil some fresh rosemary leaves in a small amount of water, cool, strain and store in the refrigerator. It should keep for about a week, then you'd have to make more. But rosemary should kill off bacteria, plus leave your feet smelling nice. :-) Garlic would be MUCH more potent, but then I doubt you'd like your feet to smell like garlic. Apple Cider Vinegar will do the job, but again you are dealing with the smell. CS doesn't have any odor. Samala, Renee ---- I play indoor, sand-court volleyball. (Everyone there plays barefoot.) Guest guest
I would just make sure I wear some good thick flip-flops in the shower, and then leave closed shoes off my feet until they completely dried. I've never had any problem, just by doing this. Air circulation will keep lots of germs at bay. Joy , " Diane " <mommysdaydream wrote: > > Hello: > > I play indoor, sand-court volleyball. Guest guest
It has been my experience that vinegar loses its odor pretty quickly, once exposed to air. I use it to clean sometimes. Guest guest
you could try using apple cider vinegar in the evening as a foot bath... 5 mins should be more than enough...dunk them in, wait a little, dry off... you will find ACV is good for body odour and poor sking tone in general. hamish. -- -------------------------------- The Keeper of the Big Blue Cable of Connectivity TKBBCC - DNRC I:274300250 Y:hamish_dy M:hamish WL:hamish-dy
