Guest guest
This is supposed to be Alternative Answers group. What are all these spam emails off topic doing here? It is wasting my time reading through my digest. Is there something that can be done with this? Am I the only one confused on this?

Guest guest
No, you aren't the only one confused by this nonsense and horse crap that has plagued our group as of late! It really sucks to have to put up with this junk. I hope it's remedied quickly. Ugh. ~Connie

Guest guest
I can't imagine anyone going through 852 messages...in 7 days. That's quite a comittment. I assume the moderators are voluntary, and we are all here to cull whatever good we can. My opinion, though also annoyed by some posts, is that rigid guidelines and censorship are what a group like this tries to avoid, rather entertaining what is not the mainstream or standard. Alternative is . . . well . . . alternative, and we might be healthy to embrace the diversity in approach and personality. Unless something is repeatedly inappropriate and thought to be so by a large majority of the group, we should feel free to skip over it. These messages are not in our face so to speak, they are rather available to us. For best mental health and access to as many options as possible, it might be healthiest to choose not to take any individual messages or responses personally. Some are also more talented at expressing themselves, and certainly there are cultural differences. And that's quite enough from me Linda , Jenny Kernan <rainysnana wrote: > > If you are unhappy with the moderation of the group > report it to . Guest guest
If the messages are inapproiate then the E-Mail it came from should be deleted from the group. It seems what ever group you join there is always some one who thinks they are funny or people who use the group to make money some how. I think more information should be taken before they are allowed to join. The group doesn't have to be huge it can just be a small group of selected people. Anyway I enjoy this group and I have learned a lot of great information. For the most part some people seems to really need help with health issues. The people that respond back seem very knowledgable and sincere. Lets try to keep it that way. The ones that think they are funny will one day have a serious illness and really need the help of the group and we will think they are just joking and not take them seriously. Or they just may not be in the group at all. laughingtoe13 <laughingtoe13 wrote: I can't imagine anyone going through 852 messages...in 7 days. That's quite a comittment. Guest guest
I agree 100%! I wouldn't be surprised at ALL if someone is being PAID by Drug Companies to come in here aa an Agitator and to " Disprupt " it's activities as to the Point where People LEAVE! I was just explaining to one Member directly of how that happened to a 150 Person Peace & Justice Group we had in NJ in 2004 ... 102 People left due to the success of the " Agitators " . If there isn't a Moderator, there SHOULD be one! /*Steve*/
Guest guest
My concern is that each of us has a threshhold, a viewpoint and a history that shapes us. How can any ONE moderator be responsible to what I believe are thousands of us, each with our own individual tolerances? , Steve Wider <AsburySteve1952 wrote: > > I agree 100%! Guest guest
- I established this e-mail address as a sanctuary for healing! I informed my family and friends that I want nothing but healing discussed on this address. I am a Reiki Practitioner. And my M.D. did me more harm than good. After years of absence,,I'm back to what I feel is real. I joined this group and others so that I could receive, and maybe give help. I have been bombarded by spammers, etc. I feel that if you have a web site,,you could say, " if you need more info " ,, go here. But I think also,, since this is being, or was, moderated, yes the moderaters need to be more alert. But you also need to be aware that this is happening on all the groups that I'm involved with. The Moderators might just feel that what theyy let through is a good thing,, since " It's all good " , Peace andlove to all of you! -- In , " care22be " <care2be wrote: > > This is supposed to be Alternative Answers group. > What are all these spam emails off topic doing here? > It is wasting my time reading through my digest. Guest guest
The moderator may be a away. The best way to deal with obnoxious senders is to ignore them. Otherwise we get everything irritating multiple times: once as sp#am, then as 200 complaints about the sp#am, etc. Ien in the Kootenays http://freegreenliving.com
Guest guest
Please everyone: I am pretty sure Andrew is away. This shows everyone how much garbage he used to take care of! Kind of like seeing the house turning to chaos when mother goes away. He'll be back, and maybe some of us should offer to help with the moderator work. Guest guest
I THINK A GOOD MORDERATOR/OWNER IS DE ONE WHO INFORMS MEMBERS BEFORE LEAVING OR IF DER IS A CRISIS THEN APPOINTING A CO MODERATOR FOR MEMBERS TO GO THRU SUCH TRUMATIC AND USELESS MAILS... I GUESS FOR SOMETIME...WE ALL NEED TO STOP CONTRIBUTING IN THE GROUP TILL ANDREW COMES BACK AND TAKES OVER ND WE NEED TO INSIST FOR A CO MODERATOR AS WELL...THIS IS A SOLUTION THAT I CAN SUGGESTION...DUNNO HOW MANY WUD AGREE...THANK U
