This is a Cactus grown in South African country side. This was used even 100s of years ago by those people. When a piece is eaten, one does not feel hunger or thirst for at least 24 hours. When those villagers go far away, for hunting or in search of yams, they used to take with them only few pieces of Hoodia Cactus. A special alkaloid in this plant gives the signal to brain as that person's stomach is full. This makes the person feel no hunger or thirst even when the stomach is empty. Few years ago, some Western Companys found the secret. Now this is commercially grown in South Africa and else where. This is available in capsule form or as juice with many compabys, who are dealing in food supliments. These are not cheap as there is a good demand for weight reduction. With Hoodia, you can easily control your food intake. Try to grow a Hoodia Cactus plant at home. If you know some body in South Africa. Guest guest
Apparently Hoodia has become the victim of its own success. Much of the Hoodia for sale is fake, or poor quality. Visit http://newstarget.com and search the article on Hoodia for reliable sources. Ien in the Kootenays http://freegreenliving.com
Guest guest
I have been told the next weight loss herbal craze will be something from Brazil called " Cha de Bugre " . It is very popular at the beaches there. It's packaged every way you can imagine. Has anyone here ever heard of it? Too bad about hoodia, but anyone who has ever tried to grow a cactus knows it takes a long time. , " Ieneke van Houten " <ienvan wrote: > > Apparently Hoodia has become the > victim of its own success. > Much of the Hoodia for sale is > fake, or poor quality. > Visit http://newstarget.com and search > the article on Hoodia for reliable sources. > > > Ien in the Kootenays > http://freegreenliving.com > >
