Job description

 

Position :

Senior Network Planning Engineer / Level 2

 

Purpose :

This position is assigned to work on customer and internal

communications projects with responsibility for assisting in solutions

development and deployment.

 

It requires five year of experience in network communications on Cisco

platform, with a strong emphasis on communication with equipment

vendors, and carriers.

 

Good working knowledge of IP telephony and convergence of technology as

related to voice and data communications.

 

Core responsibilities :

 

Experience with Cisco LAN / Cisco WAN equipment.

Experience with WAN Protocols.

Experience with TCP / IP, DNS,DHCP.

Good understanding with Cisco IP telephony.

 

Skills :

 

 

 

Cisco routers and Cisco switches for LAN / WAN.

Cisco and Checkpoint firewall / security.

Network tools (spectrum, Cisco works and sniffers )

Internet use for VPN services

QIP, DNS, DHCP TCP/IP

IPSec & GRE

Cisco AVVID solutions, IP / PBX, call center..

VPN ( Dial and Dedicated )

Strong planning and project management skills.

 

Education / experience :

 

It requires five year of experience in network communications on Cisco

platform work as a level 3 engineer, with a strong emphasis on project

management.

College degree or equivalent work experience required.

Various communications vendor certificates.
