Guest guest
Has anyone tried the lemon/olive oil drink (place 1/2 of a whole lemon, rind, seed and pulp, in blender w/ 1 cup of water and 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil, blend, strain then drink w/ each meal) and, if so, did you see any results? I've been reading on http://www.keephopealive.org/lemondrk.html that it can raise your body's pH and even reverse neuropathy. Sounds like something I could handle though, admittedly, the drink sounds gross. Another website suggested mixing the lemon and oil with orange juice but recommended the water only if you have candida. Any thoughts on this? - Anna
Guest guest
I have heard of this drink to pass stones and for a good cleansing effect. Guest guest
It does sound like a gross drink, but it might be good as a dressing on a salad. Just drinking lemon juice in the morning in water will help your PH. One thing that definitely works to help & even reverse neurophathy is alpha lipoic acid. Take at least 600 mg a day. Guest guest
Edgar Casey suggested that we should just eat apples for three days nothing else and at the end of the third day drink couple spoons of olive oil, it is supposed to be good cleansing for the body, for your info if anybody wants to try it. Best to everyone. Serap
Guest guest
I have used a variation of this drink for liver cleanses and it was very productive. I did not use it for neuropathy but for liver pains and indeed i had multiple gallstones ( liverstones). It took about 8 cleanses to take out all the crud I had in my liver. claire - " okedoke89 " <okejee Thursday, January 04, 2007 11:07 PM Re: Lemon/Olive oil drink and Neuropathy > It does sound like a gross drink, but it might be good as a dressing > on a salad. > Just drinking lemon juice in the morning in water will help > your PH. > > One thing that definitely works to help & even reverse neurophathy > is alpha lipoic acid.
