Guest guest
About 6 years ago I was dead tired 24 hours a day. My Mom gave me a pair of magnetic insoles and I was full of energy but my feet were burning hot. About a week later, I had a major skin break out, the burning feet disappeared but the energy remained. Lots of athletes and people who are on their feet all day use them for leg and foot pain and energy. I've since done a lot of detoxifying and don't wear them constantly like I used to. If we're not able to absorb the earth's natural magnetic energy by walking barefoot daily on the earth, then using these helps the cells because concrete and steel block the earth's natural magnetic energy that we need for health. Sedona and other healing areas have high magnetic fields which is one major reason why people feel healthier there. This is why animals roll around in certain areas and you see some places where horses congregate and just nap when the entire field looks the same! You probably need to detoxify since by the time we're in our forties most of us start getting diseases like cancer, heart disease, diabetes, etc. Most of these illnesses are preventable if we dotoxify and replenish nutrient and most are reversable as well. Eat organic too and avoid distilled and RO water which are acidic and sap energy. Guest guest
Are you taking any vitamins? I found that after being on a strict vitamin regimine everday i have gained quite a bit of energy. My body now has all the nutritents that my food was missing and i feel so much better. I also take a vitamin specifically for energy, which I can tell you about if you email me. , " suzisuri45 " <suzisuri wrote: > > I am fairly new here, and hoping to find a healthy way for more > physical energy. Guest guest
Until recently here in Kansas we were able to buy Chinese Ephedra at Natural Food Stores. We can still buy an Ephedrine or Psudo- Ephedrine extract of the herb at gas stations and some Pharmacies. It helps me to get started when I feel sluggish (and at 58 years old many times I feel sluggish). It should be taken moderately and not overdone if you can obtain some where you live. It is I guess, from what I've read on the inter-net, a strong heart stimulant. Sometimes green or black tea is the best of all though. While coffee mainly has one stimulant--caffeine, Indian Tea has two. Theophylline and caffeine. Here in Kansas some physicians prescribe theophylline instead of ritalin for hyper-active children. I really like the messages I've read recently about cleansing though. I took a cleansing mixture of herbs for 3 days and felt like I was about 30 again. This was good from my viewpoint because I have worked for an attorney for the last 21 years, and I had to be on the road almost 24 hours straight recently. In my opinion Hoodia has little, if any, value.
Guest guest
Hi, I'm very new to this group also. I've been diagnosed with depression and anxiety. I've been on medications for at least 10-15 years with not much luck. I'm tired most of the time, have no energy or drive to do anything especially after the Holidays', they just seem to wipe me out. I told my Dr. I don't think it's just depression, I think I get depressed because I have no energy or will to do anything. I'm tired of the meds and the side effects besides them not really working so I'm trying to find something alternative. I've increased my vitamin intake especially B vitamins but nothing seems to help me.I've had blood tests done, have been checked by Rheumatologist for diffrent things all the Dr. could find was that I have Reynold's Phenomenon. I'm very frustrated at this point, could you please tell me what vitamin you use that is helpful? I'm also just starting accupuncture. I'll be going fo my third visit. They said I should notice a difference in 3 visits but I feel more depressed, tired and not sleeping any better. I need help I don't know what to do anymore. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this. C.B. roxny79 <roxny79 wrote: Are you taking any vitamins? Guest guest
Camille, Give accupuncture and Chinese herbs at least 90 days. If you're going to a good practitioner you will see results. I went to one many years ago and had amazing results! This usually tired girl was so full of energy I was jumping out of bed at 6:00 am and exercising for an hour before taking a shower then biking to work! It was shocking to me as I'm NOT a morning person. Another thought would be that you might be allergic to something in your house or that you're eating. Tired can be a sign of allergies, often wheat, milk and/or dust. Have you tried cutting wheat and milk out? Good luck! , camille bartlett <bartlettcamille wrote: > > Hi, I'm very new to this group also. I've been diagnosed with depression and anxiety. Guest guest
Not to hurt anyone's feelings, or to be nasty or anything, but anyone who actually recommends using Ephedrine/ Ephedra/ Mau Huang must either have NO Idea of how dangerous it is, or is a Loony Tune or something! Fit America was giving Ephedra in it's " Diet Formula " years ago, and I tried it, having NO Idea of what was even IN it! My heart began palpitating really BADLY after using a HALF of the " Normal " dose (I did that just in case). And in my Family, we have extremely STRONG hearts, and most people live to be 85-95! So imagine the result with a weak Heart and the Full Dose? So, I sent a letter to Senator Lautenberg about it, saying that Fit America should either change their Formula, or be put out of business. I don't know what he did, but ironically, Ephedra was banned within a year or two (And still Should be banned ... It's VERY dangerous). Since then, I guess some Powerful PAC got it back on the Market. But, in the mean time, hundreds of People have dropped dead right after taking Ephedra, and I might have if I continued using the Fit America diet plan & formula. And NO, it is NOT an " Allergy " or a 1 in 1 Million " Reaction " to Ephedra! It is BAD Stuff, Period! And I have to tell you that this Site seems to be getting Worse and Worse with half of the People selling stuff and using this as their free advertising, and much of the other half putting ridiculous Posts on about either dangerous stuff or stuff that doesn't come even CLOSE to doing what they claim! Massage curing Depression? Yeh, Right! Massage loosens Muscles and helps relax people and even helps circulation. But Depression occurs from having a Chemical Imbalance in one's brain, which is not even affected at ALL by Massage! Nutrition highly affects it, and hard Exercise, but NOT Massage! Bad advice and phony claims only HURT, not help, people! Ephedra is Really BAD stuff! It's EXACTLY like Cocaine! And, it's extremely addictive! Guest guest
depression and anxiety are very difficult to nail down...there can be many singular or joint causes and you need to be aware of hwo it affects you and why... that said i suffered from depression for 8 years following a marital dissolution and crippling government intervention. i started using passionflower after highlighting sleep deprivation as a serious issue in my lifestyle. i also utilised catnip for everyday stress and started using some of the herbal stimulants for the little pick me up. 3 months later the depression was well in control, my energy levels did not require the stimulants and i'd adopted many other herbals to help me continue toddling along. it is 12 months now after that and we use more herbs than ever before...we are able to (and schedule it in) take a few weeks off each herb replacing it if necessary with an alternative so that our bodies can self detox any excess that may be floating around... and the depression...well and truly under control... and i say this as someone who had their method of departure already sorted and scheduled in...some 11 months ago. research as many as you can, understand you condition above all. but yes...expect to wait 3 months to see any measurable change...i felt a little better after 1 month, but by the end of 3, there were marked differences. hamish. , camille bartlett <bartlettcamille wrote: > > Hi, I'm very new to this group also. Guest guest
Many of us have our pet answers for this one. So take your time, wander from booth to booth, chat with some visitors to the fair, and FOLLOW your HEART. My personal lifelong fight with fatigue ended about 10 years ago when a friend introduced me to wild bluegreen algae. I remain deeply grateful to her. I eventually ended up making her some money and she is more than welcome to it. Yes, GASP! It turned out to be an MLM! Run for the hills! Guest guest
A young couple in Alabama purchased some pseudo ephedrine for a neighbor. They knew enough to check that it was not illegal, but the government arrested them and charged them with conspiracy to manufacture meth. They are now in prison. It is not the function of the government to punish people for being stupid, so it would be nice if people would not ask their representatives to pass more laws. We already live in a police state. Guest guest
For more energy drink Yerba Mate tea and Rooibos tea. You can also take Kola Nut capsules in the morning upon waking. To sleep better drink a cup of chamomile tea just before bedtime, also a warm bath at bedtime helps. Add a cup of cider vinegar, or Epsom Salts. A can of Evaporated milk with a couple tablespoons of honey is soothing. To clear the liver of toxins accumulated with the meds, take Dandelion root and Dandelion leaf in caps or tincture form. You can add milk thistle seed to your food to regenerate the cells of the liver. Take an all natural multi vitamin. You don't need so much B vitamins but of course find a multi with B vitamins in the formula. All natural is best instead of synthetic. One good multi is all you really need. For depression, take SAM-e and evening primrose oil. Walk at least a mile a day in a place you enjoy. As soon as you feel better, volunteer somewhere that you feel is important. Read up on Bach Flower remedies and pick out what you feel would help you, they are very helpful. Peace be with you, Thyme
Guest guest
Concerning ephedra. If not abused ephedra is an excellent herb for combating pneumonia or bronchitis. Nothing better. I have been using it for chest colds for many, many years. I am almost 70. I have no health problems, I never have to rely on anything but herbs for healing. Nothing in my old herbals recommend ephedra for weight loss. I think that is abuse. Taking it for energy is also abuse. Abusing any thing is not good for the health. When my 50 year old son had asthma as a child the Navy Hospital would give him a shot of ephedrine and it would stop the attack immediately. By the way Mormon Tea is American ephedra. Taken as tea for colds and flu. Just as God intended it to be used. Chinese ephedra is called Ma Huang. Peace be with you, Thyme
