Guest guest
I feel that religion, no matter what kind it may be, should all be loving and tolerant. Even in Christianity which is known for trying to convert as many people as possible, is loving and tolerant of others. Christianity teaches to love all and be patient with all and forgive all. I think we should do this with everyone here. Let us be loving and tolerant towards each other and let us forgive anything that has offended anyone and move on into a happy new year! God Bless. Sri Lanka, Part of India, Burma, Tailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Tibet, Mongolia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea and Japan are predominently Buddhist Countrys. This is part of my signature that I send out with all messages if this offends you perhaps you should not read my posts. And as for :Sri Lanka, Part of India, Burma, Tailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Tibet, Mongolia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea and Japan are predominently Buddhist Countrys. I don't live in any of these countries, I live in America where freedom of religion is the law. And I have always believed in TO EACH HIS OWN. Guest guest
Jina, good on you! We are entitled to have whatever signature we want. I have seen some signatures here that seem unpleasant to me, they're nothing to do with religion but not very nice but I'm not complaining. A shame that Ananda didn't even consider to spell your name correctly. And as for writing " (May be he gave you tooth ache because he loves you a lot) " - how disgusting! Just because you don't believe in someone elses God that doesn't give you the right to be so rude about their god! Ananda - if you are telling a person to keep religion out of things because not everyone believes in their god then why are you being so rude about that person's god? This is hypocritical. I think you should show more respect. As for those countries that are predominantly Buddhist countrys - there not 100% Budddist and many in those countrys believe in God. Guest guest
I lived in the orient 10 years. South Korea was mostly Christian, Japan was about half and half, Viet Nam, Thailand and China are mostly Buddhist. I am neither but I respect anyones sincere effort to acheive a higher spiritual relationship with our maker. My ex-wife was born in China and was a protestant sunday school teacher. She said many Buddhists don't like chirstians because some of them act like they are better than others. At least they don't go around killing people because they think they are better.
