Hello everyone,Iwoke up early this morning with a really bad toothache. This particular one has already been filled. Anything I can take as apain reliever while breastfeeding?Lisa

Do you have any:

Tooth & gum tincture?

Clove oil?

Cayenne?

These are great, put some on a cotton ball apply to the tooth, leave in there as long as you can.

God Bless,

Washing mouth with a solution of Potash Alum is the best answer for tooth ache

as far as I know. This is the salt used in water purification in water treatment

plants. Potash Alum is an antibiotic too. Very cheap.

When applied to armpits etc., keeps the body order away for days.

Widely used by ladies in the Philippines.

Once my dog had a big wound on the thigh. I cured it within a week, by

applying Potash Alum solution on the wound.

I use it to gargle for sore throat.

As an alternate diluted Hydrogen Peroxide can be used too.

As for a dilute like warm solution of potash alum, it may help subdue

inflammation due to its astringent effect. Otherwise, it's mostly used

in water purification, leather tanning, mordant dyeing, as an

astringent (as noted previsouly), and in baking powder.

However, the oil of capsicum (Cayenne) has strong stimulating

properties that can be helpful when it comes to toothaches. It is

exceedingly strong, and the dose must be not more than one drop -

given on sugar. For the relief of toothache caused by a cavity, first

clean out the cavity of the tooth as much as possible, then make a

small plug of cotton wool saturated with oil of capsicum, which press

into the cavity, and it will, in most cases, cure the toothache by its

stimulating and antiseptic qualities. The beneficial effect can last

for days or weeks.
