Guest guest
i've let myself get too large also. i remember one time i watched my calories and between meals, instead of fruit, i had around 3 fish oil capsules and that held me usually until the next meal (sometimes it wasn't pleasant because the flavor would burp up) and that seemed to work really well, plus, it lowered my cholesterol. 3 fish oil capsules is only 30 calories. , " sukhjeetkaur13 " <sukhjeetkaur13 wrote: > > hi, i'm new in this group. requesting u 2 please help me reduce my > weight without any medication. i am 5'5 " & 72 kgs. >

Guest guest
For those of us in the US I converted sukhjeetkaur13's weight to pounds. 72 kgs is 159 pounds. sukhjeetkaur13 I'm working on creating a healthy body and have been working with a nutritionist and personal trainer. If you would like to create a fit body, I would recommend reducing your starch/grains intake to 1-2 servings (what would fit in the palm of your hand) a day, eating protein with every meal, eating a minimum of 6 cups of vegetables a day, eating fish 3 times a week, drinking 8 glasses of water a day and severely limiting your intake of sugar (which won't be hard as my cravings went away almost immediately after I stopped eating grains/starch). Also, no diet soda or diet products allowed. The chemicals in them are toxic and can make you crave unhealthy foods. You should eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus up to 2 snacks a day. A snack would be 10 raw cashews or almonds, 4 ounces of cheese (preferable goat or sheep), NO bananas!, 1/3 avocado, an apple, pear or orange, a chicken drumstick (no skin). For exercise, walking at least 3 times a week for 30 minutes a stretch or doing something more vigorous at least 3 times a week should help fire up your metabolism. You should take a very good quality nutritional supplement, omega 3 oil and a good digestive aid (at every meal). This formula should help you reach what your body believes is your IDEAL weight and it shouldn't take more than a few months to get there. Good luck! , " sukhjeetkaur13 " <sukhjeetkaur13 wrote: > > hi, i'm new in this group. requesting u 2 please help me reduce my > weight without any medication. i am 5'5 " & 72 kgs. >
Guest guest
Hi Karen Just curious...... why no bananas? I thought they were really good for you. I also thought nuts contained a lot of fat? However I love nuts and eat lots!!!! Guest guest
Hi, sorry for the delay in responding. I haven't been on the site for several days. My understanding is that we don't eat enough good fat. Good fat helps with all bodily function and helps us lose weight. Good fat from nuts, non-farmed fish, eggs with omega-3, flaxseed oil and avocado among other sources. My doctor told me to avoid bananas because they can spike your blood sugar. Spiking blood sugar will cause you to crave grains/starch. Therefore he suggested I avoid. Hope this helps! Karen PS: I just started reading the book YOU on a Diet. Based on my initial scan of the book it seems to be aligned with what the doctor who put me on my diet told me. I'm interested to see what it has to say! , " Caroline " <Alwaysnaturallygreat wrote: > > > Hi Karen > > Just curious...... why no bananas? I thought they were really good > for you.
