Guest guest
Whenever someone has mouth ulcers in my family, we tell them to stop eating sugar (like too much candy), and to press table salt into the ulcers for a few seconds. Hope this is of help
Guest guest
Ravi, Mouth ulcers are an indication that someting is not right with your body. You can fight it topically by rinsing your mouth, but in the long run we have to look at the root cause. Do you have individual ulcers, or is it more like a white all-over coating? Individual sores can be a sign of B vitamin deficiency. What is your diet like? A white coating, rather than individual blisters, is called thrush. It is an indication of an overgrowth of Candida Albicans, the wrong fungus in the intestines. Are you eating any probiotic foods on a regular basis? Yogurt, keefir, lassi? You live in India? (going by the email) Have you seen an Ayurveic doctor? There are all sorts of superb herbs in that tradition, and people who know it on this list. Hope you find what you are looking for, but remember, you will need more than a quick fix. All the best, Ien in the Kootenays http://freegreenliving.com

Guest guest
Generally you get mouth ulcers when you are constipated or too much body heat. Drink a glass of hot milk with one spoon hot ghee mixed thoroughlyat bed time for three days. It will take out the body heat and clear the bowels movement. , HeiressArts wrote: > > Whenever someone has mouth ulcers in my family, we tell them to stop eating > sugar (like too much candy), and to press table salt into the ulcers for a few > seconds. > Hope this is of help > > >
Guest guest
And that also hurts like heck! lol... I have had problems with my mouth for while.. including mouth ulcers. When I went to the oral surgeon he gave me a script for medicine.. and it actually cleared it up immediately. And it wasnt expensive.. and I only used it for 2-3 days, with plenty left over. However, I do not recall the name of it. Any good oral surgeon would know. ALTERNATIVELY, I have used to clear up abcesses, tooth infections and gum infections a combination of sorts before, so I will tell you what worked for me.First I gargled with warm salt water (table salt) for at least 17 seconds periodically throughtout the day. I gargled with hydrogen peroxide, diluted w/ warm water periodically throughout the day.. again at least 17 seconds. I have taken charcoal capsules, which will pull an infection.. or the toxins, causing it, and flushes it through the system.. and out the other end.. (ewww) lol. Clove oil diluted w/ warm water gargle with that too.. that has a numbing effect, and also anit bacterical properties as well... just as fresh garlic chopped up and boiled, and gargled at room temperature.. Good luck! - HeiressArts Thursday, December 28, 2006 12:09 PM Re: How to cure mouth ulcers Whenever someone has mouth ulcers in my family, we tell them to stop eating sugar (like too much candy), and to press table salt into the ulcers for a few seconds. Guest guest
Ooooohhhh Boy have I been there. I had periodic cancer sores (mouth ulcers) my whole childhood. Some tiny and others large and very painful and it seems they were always in a spot that a tooth would catch. Ouch! To make a long story short, I discovered one day, quite by accident, that I was allergic to some product in juices. Orange, grapefruit, lemon, lime, pineapple. All of these caused the cancer sores. I quit drinking those and I haven't had a problem in 20 yrs. Apple, grape and cranberry juice don't cause me any problems. Go figure. Is it possible that you, like me, are having an allergic reaction to something? Guest guest
To prevent further ulcers in the mouth, stop using commercial toothpaste. Use either a mix of 1/2 baking soda and 1/2 salt or go to _www.tomsofmaine.com_ (http://www.tomsofmaine.com) which explains his all natural toothpaste and also has a store locater. Since I started using this, I have never gotten another mouth ulcer and it has been many years. This product is made in the USA. In the meantime rinse the mouth with a weak water and baking soda solution. Peace, Thyme
Guest guest
if you are talking about a white open canker sore that's in the mouth, I learned from a doctor years ago to press the tip of a match onto the sore. It burns at first, but it is tolerable. The sulfur in the match takes the white out of the sore and starts to kill it off. It really works...the sore is usually gone within a day or two...but you have to do it a few times to make sure you get all of it. Guest guest
Hi, A lot of problems would result in mouth ulcers, gastrointestinal disorders, endocrine changes, mental stress, poor sleep, a lack of zinc, iron, folic acid, vitamin B12, etc. If ulcers happen regularly, you need to figure out the problem. You should avoid spicy foods, deep-fried foods or acidic fruit like citrus fruit. Taking plenty of of green vegetables and a lot of water would help. Plenty of sleep is also recommended. Hope it helps. Wang Qiang http://www.tcmdepot.com

Guest guest
Dabbing hydrogen peroxide on the sore can also be a great help. , HeiressArts wrote: > > Whenever someone has mouth ulcers in my family, we tell them to stop eating > sugar (like too much candy), and to press table salt into the ulcers for a few > seconds. > Hope this is of help > > >
Guest guest
You've gotten lots of good tips and I must add that you should get checked for allergies. A friend of mine found out that she had certain food allergies that would bring this on along with eczema on her hand that just never healed. She needed to avoid the food for two full weeks in order for her hand to stop cracking. Accidently consuming even the smallest amount would bring on a full-fledged attack. If you can get yourself to a good homeopath, you may be able to fix this as well. There are various remedies that may work.
