Guest guest
Hey wonderful helpers,,,,I'm needing something for sinus infection. Not draining, but have slight, constant headache over the 3rd eye area and sides of head. I've had it for a while now,, please help.
Guest guest
This will not get rid of the infection but works very well in giving relief from the stuffy head and pressure in the sinuses. My entire family uses this any time we have this problem and it always works very well. Put some Ben-Gay (yep you read it right) or similar muscle rub on the forehead and temple areas all across the sinsus and cover with a warm towel. Be very careful not to get into the eyes. Sit back in a recliner or lay down to do this. You will need to keep your eyes closed once you begin to put the Ben-Gay because the vapors will get in your eyes on so you need to have the towel ready. Plan to relax for at least 30 to 45 minutes with your eyes closed. I also do this when going to bed some times. I have no idea how this works and it would seem that just putting this on your skin would not be effective but it works better than anything I have ever tried to relieve a sinus headache or pressure in the sinuses, much better than decongestants. Guest guest
Hello, The best thing for that would be " Oregacyn " (also called OregaResp) by North American Herb and Spice. I would take one 3x a day for a month, at least. Sinus infections are tough to get rid of and usually turns into a fungal infection. That's why you should remain on it so long. (and also why they keep reoccuring) Afterwards, do a round of probiotics. Here's a link to the cheapest place I've found it. It works. www.myhealthpro.com - sukhjeetkaur13 Thursday, December 28, 2006 1:55 PM Re: Sinus infection , " Jose " <hlnhnz wrote: > > Hey wonderful helpers,,,,I'm needing something for sinus infection. Guest guest
This is a well tested method which worked well with a fellow engineer, who was in our team. His smell was so offencive, I usually did not take him in my car. As we had few Japanese professors with us in our team, one day I spoke to him direct of his problem. I asked him to use 7 drops of " Salinase " on each nostril morning and evenings. Also a 500mg Ascorbic acid(Vit.C) twice a day after meals. I was checking his progress. Two months later I could take him in my car. Six months later he was completely cured and he calls me Doctor since then. Salinase is a mild solution of Sodium Chloride available in Pharmacy. But can be made at home easily. 1/4 tea spoon of Sodium Chloride in one tea cup of distilled water. Vit C would enhance the immunity to fight bacteria and salt kills the malodorous bacteria in nasal cavities. That's all. Guest guest
First of all, definitly DO NOT eat any dairy products. Dairy products produce mucus in the body and feed the infection. I have permanantly cut out dairy from my diet because I was constantly sick and now I have not gotten sick since last winter! A natural supplement that acts as an anti-biotic is garlic supplement that can help you to kick the infection as well as vitamin C of course. , " renee2323 " <reneestorm wrote: > > Hello, > I am new to the group and have not posted before. > I have been sick for about 3 weeks now. Guest guest
Royal Jelly Capsules are a Great Relief for Sinus Congestion! I had a sinus operation that was supposed to clear my sinuses for 10 years, back in 1991 or so. The problem returned in about 1 1/2 years. Then I had a single date with a woman who told me about taking Royal Jelly. It not only acts as a decongestant, but has great nutritional value also, and NO side effects (Unless, in a very rare case someone is allergic to bee products). As they say " Try it, you'll like it! Guest guest
HI, Thanks, but I do not have any of the essential oils you mentioned. I was getting better, looked like it would be fine by tomorrow and I could go to work. (It is night time here in Germany, now) Actually it is about 5AM and I have not slept much all night. I slept for a bit and work up with the other side hurting and now the sinus infectyion has moved to the other side and to my EAR. damn I am tired of this pain/discomfort and just being sick in general. I will be forced to go to a Dr. today as I cannot take it any longer. I put benetonite clay on my top gums which seemed to help with the first round, I have a small piece stuck in my ear, but only theoutside area as I dont want it to get stick. Then that just makes one more problem. I am taking the silver internaly, doing salt washes of the nose, but I feel like hell and of course my damn husband is out of the country as usual. Never home when I need him. Sorry to be so negative, but pain brings it on.
