Guest guest
Hi! I am going to a Naturopath on the 5th for my menstural/female problems. He is a women's specialist, and what have you. I am thankful that I found him. I am just curious, what kind of things will he want to know? I've been taking chlorophyl, RRL, and Vitex, and a prenatal vitamin as per my midwife's request. Today I started my flow again, and my cramping was worse than it has been in a LONG time, and the blood was purple. It wasnt like dark red, but PURPLE. It was so weird. After the cramping subsided (it NEVER does that so I dont know what was up!) my blood was bright red, as it should be, but only has been since Ive been taking the chlorophyl, two months. My issues is not so much the blood color though... I just thought that was really weird! I have bad cramping all the time... I have one week out of the month where my uterus or ovaries do not hurt. Its begining to get on my nerves a little bit! I bleed for 11 days, which doesnt bug me so much, its just all the pain. Also the fact that the last week I just spot all the time! I went on progesterone cream and it shortened my period to seven days, which is nice, but the pain didn't go away. The nurse practitioner who did the pelvic exam and all my blood work (i HATE medical anything!!!) said she didnt know what was up with all that pain. Gee, thanks, huh! So here I am going to the naturopath. I dont know what else he will tell me to do, besides chlorophyl and vitex and RRL which I already am doing! What do you think? Are you taking it for that reason or??? If you are taking the vitex AND the progestrone cream, they are both working AGAINST each other. They shouldn't be taken at the same time. The whole cramping issue really sounds as if you're not getting enough calcium. There are some women who need a lot of calcium. I am one of them. I mean a lot. And once I started that I have never had cramps again. For some reason my body does not hold onto calcium at all so I have to take a lot everyday. A dose in the morning and one at night. Calcium is known for easing menstrual cramps. The purple blood sounds as if your body is cleaning its uterine walls. These tend to produce darker colors and a lot of clotting. It can get more common after age 35-38'ish. Dawn
Guest guest
I am confused about you having your periods still if you have a midwife and are taking prenatal vitamins. It sounds like you are pregnant and still having periods? Please clarify. Peace, Thyme
Guest guest
sorry I didnt get this post till just now its hard to keep all these messages straight when people start a new heading under the same subject... oy! midwives do not only take care of pregnant women, although that is the primary role. I am not pregnant.
Guest guest
Have you tried a soy protein shake? It is supposed to regulate hormones. My sister recently quit birth control pills and religously took soy protein everyday and her cramps have subsided as well as regulated her cycle. , " germidwife4israel " <germidwife4israel wrote: > > Hi! > I am going to a Naturopath on the 5th for my menstural/female > problems.
